Head Coach Jean Burr adds Kathleen Cronin to her coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2002-2003 season.

Cronin is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a degree in wildlife biology. She was a four year member of the women's basketball team and captain of the squad her senior year.

Cronin went on to play professional basketball in Figueira da Foz, Portugal for the Sporting Club Figueirense. She led the club to a third place conference ranking, averaging 33 points and 12 boards pre game.

Cronin then continued her career in professional basketball with Washington Sports and Entertainment where she was an Account Executive for the Washington Mystics. While working for the Mystics she was named Mystics Salesperson of the Year 2001, achieving 150% of the 2001 Mystics season sales goal. Cronin also represented the Washington Wizards at various games and events.

Cronin's final stop before joining Burr's coaching staff brings her most experience to the court. She was a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Washington Mystics where her duties included preparation for practices, scrimmages, and attending to many managerial tasks that supported the coaching staff.
