Position: Assistant Coach
Batastini is entering her first season with the Bears after serving as a Head Women's Basketball Coach in Switzerland for the past year.

Prior to her coaching duties, she played professionally in Switzerland and was a Swiss All-Star. She led the league in assists and was a member of the Swedish and Norwegian Elite Divisions. Batastini also played in the Italian League.

Batastini is a 2000 graduate of Stanford University where she was a four-year letterwinner in basketball. During her tenure the Cardinal advanced to the NCAA Final Four in 1996 and won the Pac 10 Championship three times. She received her BA in American Studies from Stanford as well as a CEFLE Diploma in French Studies for Foreigners.

Batastini attended Classical High School in Providence, RI and was named the New England High School Gatorade Player of the Year as well as a Parade and Nike High School All-American. She was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003.
