Clarke, Bikofsky Earn All-Ivy Accolades

PRINCETON, N.J. – For the second consecutive season, Brown guard Lauren Clarke (Colts Neck, N.J.) earned Second Team All-Ivy recognition while junior Sophie Bikofsky (Newton, Mass.) garnered Honorable Mention All-Ivy honors for the first time in an announcement made by the Ivy League on Thursday.

Clarke finished the 2013-14 season ranked second in the Ivy League with a 15.9 points per game average and third with a .388 percentage from behind the arc.  A milestone season for the senior saw her score her 1,000th point on December 8 versus Morgan State and shatter the Brown career treys record with her 171st three-point field goal against New Hampshire on January 3.

Clarke tallied double digits in all but three games this season, including a career high 28 points against New Hampshire.  She finishes her career on College Hill sixth on Brown's all-time scoring list with 1,304 points.

The current NCAA leader in three-point field goal percentage (.486), Bikofsky boasted her best season at Brown, averaging 13.5 points per game for the Bears.  The junior has been a consistent threat from long-distance this season, finishing with the best single season three-point field goal percentage in program history, eclipsing Jinny Gill's .441 percentage set in 1988-89.

The Newton, Massachusetts native netted a career high 28 points against Rhode Island while connecting on seven treys, tying a single-game team record.  Bikofsky earned Brown's lone Ivy League Player of the Week recognition this season, claiming the honors after a 23-point performance at Saint Peter's on November 16.

Brown finished the 2013-14 season at 10-18 overall, including a 61-58 upset of first place Princeton on March 1.
