Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Gear Up for 2010 Season

Providence, RI- The Brown University men's and women's cross country teams are set for another exciting year as both squads begin competition when a small group travels to Franklin Park on Saturday, Sept. 11 for the Boston College Invitational, followed by a larger group heading to the Iona Meet of Champions at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday, Sept. 18.

Providence, RI-Brown University men's cross country coach Kevin Myles is excited to announce the incoming class of 2010. After losing senior captains Colin Brett and Duriel Hardy, along with fellow seniors John Loeser, Alex Stern, Zack Malet, and Scott Cary, the men's team will look to continue its resurgence in the Ivy League rankings this fall.

Cross Country Teams Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors
Providence, RI- Both the Brown University men’s and women’s cross country team received USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors, the organization announced this afternoon. The men’s team is one of 135 Division I men’s program to receive the honor for the 2009 season, up from 110 in 2008, while the women are one of 176 teams honored, up from 162 in 2008.
