Nathan joins the Bear's coaching staff as a volunteer assistant for the Men's Cross Country team. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Platteville, Nathan owns the Pioneers' 5,000-meter school record with a time of 14:22.69, and the school's facility record in the 10,000 after having won the WIAC title in 30:41.65.

An NCAA Division III qualifier in outdoor track and field and cross country, Nathan helped the Pioneers to program-best finishes of ninth and fourth-place in cross country. Petesch earned Second-Team Academic All-America accolades, and was a 2-time UW-P Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Nathan came to Brown for the Division I, Ivy League experience and to learn from the Bears' well established coaching staff. He is currently finishing a Master's Degree in Human Performance from Ithaca College with hopes of becoming a collegiate cross country and track and field coach.
