Men's Cross Country Finishes in Fifth at NCAA Northeast Regionals

Buffalo, NY- The Brown University men's cross country team finished in fifth out of 33 teams competing at the 2011 NCAA Northeast REgionals hosted at the University at Buffalo at the Audubon Golf Course yesterday afternoon. Leading the Bears was senior Dan Lowry, who earned third place on the 10,000m course with a time of 31:21.1.

Following behind Lowry was senior Matt Duffy, who crossed the finish line in 19th place with a time of 31:51.5, and senior Nathan Chellman ran a 32:33.6 for 44th overall.

Senior Anthony Schurz was next with a 32:39.4 (51st) and junior Austin Snyder (61st) rounded out the scoring with a 32:52.1. Also running for the Bears was junior Conor Grogran (66th) with a 32:57.1 and junior Kevin Cooper (102nd) with a 33:32.9.
