East Greenwich, RI- Senior Ethan Hickey led all runners this afternoon with a first place time of 26:13.1 to help lead the Brown men's cross country team earn the team title with 15 points at the Rothernberg Invitational this afternoon in East Greenwich, R.I.
Following Hickey's first place time, Brown locked up second through fifth place with sophomore Brendan Boyle taking second with a 26:13.1. Junior Conor Grogan followed in third place with a 26:13.2, and sophomores Kyler Evitt earned fourth (26:21.1) and Jeff Bush finished in fifth (26:39.3) to round out the scorers for the Bears.
The Bears continued its solid running earning sixth through 10th place finishes. Freshmen Dana Dourdeville earned sixth (26:54.3), Arjun Nukal finished in seventh (26:54.8), and junior Ben Stephenson finished eighth with a 27:01.1. Then rookies Mark McGurrin (27:01.3) and Evan Roelke (27:01.7) finished in ninth and 10th place, respectively. Also running this afternoon was sophomore Colin Savage, who earned 16th with a 27:35.5.
