Grapplers Compete At Las Vegas Invite

Las Vegas, NV - The Brown wrestling team took part in the annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Inviational this weekend, placing 47th overall. The Bears wrestled in just eight of the ten weight classes in one of the most challenging meets in the country. Sophomore heavyweight Levon Mock was Brown's biggest highlight as he was just one match away from placing, going 3-2 at the Invite. Freshman Matt Gevelinger was another bright spot as he went 2-2, losing to the runner-up and fourth place finisher in the 174 weight class. Freshman Leonard Marandino went 2-2 at 157 as well. Michigan placed first overall while Cornell and Missouri rounded out the top three.
