Schell Begins Competition At NCAA Wrestling Championships

St. Louis, MO - Brown freshman Jeff Schell began competition at the 2005 NCAA Wrestling Championships in St. Louis, MO. Schell had the daunting task of facing #1 seeded Sam Hazewinkel of Oklahoma as he fell 13-3 to the Big 12 Champ. Hazewinkel finished third at last year's NCAA Championships and remains undefeated this season.

Schell will now move on to the consolation round where he will face Shawn Cordell of West Virginia. Cordell lost his opening round match 6-2, to Adam Smith of Penn State.
