PROVIDENCE, RI - Senior Bronson Lingamfelter (Boxborough, MA) earned the 100th victory of his career as the Brown wrestling team defeated the Princeton Tigers 25-11 on Sunday afternoon at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
Lingamfelter reached the 100-win plateau by pinning his Princeton opponent at a time of 4:11 in the heavyweight division.
The Bears won seven of ten bouts against the Tigers (4-15) as they improved their overall record to 10-5 and 1-1 in the Ivy League.
Other winners for Brown included Nick Ciarcia (Berlin, CT) at 197, Clint Frease (Clearwater, FL) at 141, David Dies (Akron, OH) at 149, Jesse Savage (Millsboro, DE) at 157, Sean Jenkins (Allentown, PA) at 165, and Karl Rittger (Glen Gardner, NJ) at 184.
Brown returns to action on Friday, February 15 when it will wrestle at Cornell in Ithaca, NY.
