Brown Men's Wrestling Falls to Pennsylvania 13-25

The Brown men's wrestling team dropped a 13-25 decision to the University of Pennsylvania Friday afternoon. Senior Nick Ciarcia (Berlin, CT) led the bears with a strong win over Ethan Bullock, 12-3 at 184 pounds.
The Bears who opened the afternoon with two tough loses to Pennsylvania in the 133 and 141 pound class, saw senior David Dies (Akron, OH) win his match 4-1 at 149 pounds. After another loss at 157, senior Sean Jenkins (Schnecksville, PA) won his bout 5-3 over Richard Ferguson at 165 pounds. Senior Adam Santee (Perry, OH) won a hard fought match against Greg Hallahan, 3-2 at 174 pounds. Ciarcia commandingly took his victory 12-3, putting up the Bears' fourth win of the afternoon. Brown lost the last three bouts to Pennsylvania.
Wrestling continues action at home, Saturday February 7th, against Army at 11am.
