Brown Picks Up Pivotal Win Over Ivy League Rival Harvard

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -  The Brown wrestling team was back in action on Saturday afternoon at the Pizzitola Sports Center, picking up an all-important win over Ivy League-rival Harvard, 22-17, before falling to No. 15 Lehigh, 35-3.

Sophomore Billy Watterson (Pound Ridge, N.Y.) was victorious in both of his matches on Saturday, defeating Harvard's Max Mejia, 14-3, in a majority decision before earning a 10-6 decision over Lehigh's Alex Abreu.

Against Harvard, junior Grant Overcashier (Goodrich, Mich.) worked his way to a 4-1 win over Harvard's Shay Warren at 141, while senior Ricky Bailey (Palmyra, N.J.) fought his way to a 13-6 win over the Crimson's Patrick Hogan at 149 pounds.

Brown actually went three-for-three against Harvard as senior Dave Foxen (Garden City, N.Y.), rookie Ophir Bernstein (Allen, Texas) and freshman Sterling Hecox (Loves Park, Ill.) went on to wins versus the Crimson.
