Grant LeBeau Named CWPA Northern Division Player of the Week

Providence, RI - Brown junior Grant LeBeau (San Diego, CA) has been named the CWPA Northern Division Player of the Week for his performance during the Bears' six-game road trip in California last week. LeBeau led his team with 11 goals during the trip, and was one of two players to score in all six games.

For the week, LeBeau also tied for second on the team by drawing eight ejections, adding two steals, two assists, and two blocks. His best game was in the Bears' 8-7 loss to Santa Clara, with whom they were tied for 20th in the Top 20 Poll, as he scored five goals and drew one ejection.

LeBeau is the second Brown player to be named Player of the Week this season. Junior Mike Gartner (San Jose, CA) received the honor on Sept. 11.
