Brown Men's Water Polo Announces Class of 2017

PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND – Felix Mercado, the head coach of the Brown men's water polo team, has announced the five members of the Class of 2017 who will be joining the Bears in the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center in the fall of 2013. The group includes two attackers, a center, a utility player and a goalkeeper, and the student-athletes represent two states and the country of Israel.

"With the departure of six seniors, it was important for us to bring in not only talented student-athletes but also players that could help us continue to pursue the ever-elusive Eastern Championship," said Mercado. "I feel that we were able to accomplish that, as well as bring in excellent students with high character."
