Brown’s Svetozar Stefanovic Named All-American by ACWPC

PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND - Brown senior Svetozar Stefanovic (Belgrade, Serbia) has been named an All-American for the fourth consecutive season, earning third team All-America honors by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches.

A three-year honorable mention All-American, Stefanovic was named the 2012 CWPA Northern Division Player of the Year for the fourth consecutive season, while also earning First Team All-North and All-East honors.

Stefanovic set the Brown school record with 117 goals in 2012, breaking his own single-season scoring mark of 107 set in 2011. He had 94 ejections drawn and added 22 assists, 62 steals and eight field blocks. He earned CWPA Northern Division Player of the Week honors three times this season.

Stefanovic also established a new Brown career scoring record of 366 goals, shattering the previous mark of 249 goals by Kent Rapp.
