No. 19 Brown Men’s Water Polo Defeats No. 13 Princeton, 10-9

Cambridge, MA- Henry Fox netted four goals and junior goalkeeper Walker Shockley earned eight saves in net to help lead the Brown men's water polo team to a 10-9 victory over Princeton on Saturday evening at Blodgett Pool. The Bears will now challenge St. Francis in the championship game at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Princeton came out hot and outscored Bruno 4-2 in the first quarter. But the Bears were able to edge the Tigers 3-2 in the second to head into halftime down by just one. Both squads put in two goals each in the third quarter, but the Bears had a big fourth quarter outscoring Princeton 3-1 to earn the 10-9 victory.

Nick Deaver helped out with three goals and six steals, while Matty Gallas, Cyrus Mojdehi and Svetozar Stefanovic each netted one. James McNamara had five assists and three steals.
