Water Polo’s Dean Serure to Compete in 2009 Maccabiah Games

    Providence, RI- Brown water polo recruit, Dean Serure (Coconut Grove, FL) will be participating in the 18th Maccabiah Games in Tel Aviv, Israel.  Serure and his 12 teammates will open play against Mexico today, and play four games in the round robin competition before moving into the medal round.

    Sometimes referred to as the "Jewish Olympics," these Games are held every your years in Israel and attract the most outstanding Jewish athletes from around the world.  Serure will represent the United States in the two-week competition that began yesterday with Opening Ceremonies in Tel Aviv's Ramat Gan Stadium.
