Ryan Graddy Named ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American

Providence, RI - Brown track & field senior Ryan Graddy (Del Mar, CA) has been selected to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America men's track & field/cross country team by the members of the College Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA). Graddy was selected to the University Division Second Team, and is the only Ivy League student-athlete on the First, Second of Third team.

Graddy was a History concentrator with a 4.0 GPA and graduated into Brown's Medical School as part of the Program in Liberal Medical Education. He helped Brown to a first-place finish at the cross country New England Championships as Brown's second finisher with a time of 25:24 and ran a 14:36.47 at the Penn Relays in the 5,000m. Graddy earned a 2:01.32 in the 800m at the University of Connecticut Invitational, placed seventh at the Outdoor Ivy League Heptagonal Championships in the 10,000m run with a 30:41.31, and was also an IC4A Qualifier in the 10,000m.
