Men's Cross Country Takes Fifth Out of 33 Teams At NCAA Northeast Regionals

Van Cortlandt Park, NY - The men's cross country team placed fifth out of 33 teams at the 2002 NCAA Northeast Regionals in Van Cortlandt Park, NY Saturday afternoon. Jeff Gaudette placed first for the Bears and 18th overall with a time of 31:37.5. Brown had seven runners place in the top 100 out of a field of 223 runners.

Matt Emond placed second for Brown and 30th overall with a time of 31:59.0. Jeff Tomlinson finished third for Brown and 33rd overall with a time of 32:01.1. Patrick Tarpy placed 48th overall with a time of 32:20.6. Chad Buechel placed 75th overall with a time of 32:49.4. Brendan O'Keefe finished 83rd overall with a time of 33:08.6 and Erik Churchill rounded out the top 100 finished for Brown, placing 86th with a time of 33:08.6
