UCONN took first with 206.33 points, followed by URI (156.66), Providence College (99), and Brown (87). Freshman Bryan Powlen (Kewenna, IN) followed with a 14.61 throw, to place fourth. Freshman Reginald Cole (Seattle, WA) placed fourth in the triple jump (14.16m).
The Bears will compete next at the annual Brown-Harvard-Cornell meet, to be held at Harvard (Cambridge, MA) on Saturday, January 27.
