Cross country(2008): Placed fourth at the Dartmouth Invitational as Brown's highest finisher ... At the New England Championships finished 20th and was the top freshman in the race ... At the Ivy League Championships, placed 33rd and was the third fastest freshman in the race.
2008-2009 indoor season: Did not compete due to illness.

Top Freshman 2008 Cross Country

High School: A four year Varsity letter earner in both Track and Cross Country, Duffy's top finishes at the California State meet in division 4 were 6th in 2005, 7th in 2006 and 8th in 2007 ... He was also a two time North Coast Section Champion in Cross Country ... Duffy also placed 21st at the Footlocker West Regional Championships ... In track Duffy had a PR of 9:09 in the 3200m and 4:17 in the 1600 ... His time of 9:09 in the 3200m placed him 8th at the California State Championships and he also finished runner up in the 3200m at the North Coast Section Meet of Champions ... Duffy held school records in the 1600m, 3200m and Distance Medley Relay.
