Track & Field Recognizes Student-Athletes at Awards Ceremony
May 18, 2012Providence, RI- Members of the Brown University track & field teams were honored at its 2011-12 awards ceremony last week. Sophomore John Spooney, senior Dan Lowry and junior Lacey Craker were named team MVP's, while junior Olivia Mickle earned the team's Most Improved Award. Rookies Lauren Waterbury, InSoo Hwang and Peter Rhodes also earned Freshman of the Year honors.

Princeton, NJ- The Brown track & field teams competed at the IC4A/ECAC Championship hosted at Princeton this weekend at the Weaver Track & Field Stadium.

Waltham, MA- While many athletes are competing at the ECAC/IC4A's hosted at Princeton, a few members of the Brown University track & field team competed at the New Balance Boston Twilight meet hosted at Bentley University on Saturday.
Men’s Track & Field Earns Fourth at Ivy League Heptagonal Championship
Philadelphia, PA- The Brown University men's track & field squad finished in fourth place with 71 points at the 2012 Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonal Championship hosted at the University of Pennsylvania this weekend. Three Bears earned All-Ivy honors for their outstanding performances, including sophomore standout John Spooney earning first team All-Ivy in both the 100 and 200m dash.
