2012-13: Competed in the 5000m at the New Balance Boston Twilight Meet, finishing 21st…Placed 26th in the 3000m at the URI Coaches Tribute Invitational

Before Brown: A graduate of St. John’s Prep High School, Benjamin Halpin lettered in track and cross country and also played on the men’s ice hockey team… Served as captain of the cross country team and led his team to win the Catholic Conference Championship for three consecutive years… Named Catholic Conference MVP, St. John’s Prep MVP, a Salem (MA) News Cross Country All-Star, and to the Boston Globe All-Scholastic Cross Country Team… Member of National Honor Society, Headmaster’s List, Principal’s List, and Honor Roll (8 semesters)… Also a member of the Chamber Orchestra
