Hardy & Powlen Earn All-Ivy Track & Field Honors

Providence, RI- Seniors Duriel Hardy (West Chester, PA) and Bryan Powlen (Kewanna, IN) earned first and second place finishes, respectively, at the 2010 Ivy League Indoor Track & Field Heptagonal Championship last weekend to earn All-Ivy recognition. The top League performers in each individual event and the top team in each relay event earn selection to the All-Ivy League track & field first team. The second Ivy finishers earn second team honors.


Hardy had a great performance for the Bears in the 5k, earning an indoor personal record of 14:21.28 to earn the title and garner First Team All-Ivy honors. Powlen tossed a 16.87m in the shot put to place second overall and receive Second Team All-Ivy honors.
