Men's Tennis Excels at South Carolina Invitational
Brown competed at the South Carolina Fall Invitational with considerable success. Sophomore Chris Drake (Needham, MA) captured consolation finals of the A1 singles, beating Rice University in the finals, 6-3, 6-1.
At B1 singles, senior Chris Wolf (Barrington, RI) placed second, capturing five matches before falling in the main draw championship match, 6-3, 7-5 to Virginia Tech.
Freshman Ben Brier (Dartmouth, MA) also excelled, advancing to the finals of the B3 main draw, falling in the championship match, 7-5, 6-2, to William & Mary.
The doubles team of Wolf and Brier captured the B1 doubles championship, beating William & Mary in the finals.
