Shamasdin and Charm Eliminated in NCAA Doubles Quarterfinals

COLLEGE STATION, TX - Senior co-captain Adil Shamasdin (Pickering, ONT), and junior Philip Charm (Concord, MA) were eliminated in the Quarterfinals of the NCAA Doubles Tournament, Saturday, May 28th, in College Station, TX.

Ranked 47th in the country, the duo fought hard, but could not hold off the sixth-ranked team in the country, Mark Growcott and Ken Skupski of LSU, who finished as NCAA Doubles Runners-up. Shamasdin and Charm fell 6-3, 6-7 (2), 6-4 to the pair of LSU, ending their spectacular run, while advancing the furthest ever in NCAA Doubles by a Brown duo.

With his singles win and two doubles wins, Shamasdin is now the Brown leader for overall career victories with 216.
