The 46th-ranked Brown men's tennis team has earned a berth in the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship for the second straight season and will travel to Durham, North Carolina and the Duke campus for a rematch with 28th-ranked Wake Forest on Saturday, May 10, 2003, starting at 1:00 p.m. The Bears were one of 33 teams to receive an At-Large berth to the 64-team tournament field.
Coach Jay Harris' Brown men's tennis team posted a 20-4 overall record this season, including a win over the Demon Deacons, 4-3, on February 22nd in a 7-hour match in Providence. The Bears finished second in the Ivy League standings with a 6-1 Ivy mark. Wake Forest compiled a 13-8 overall record and fell to Duke in the ACC Semifinals.
The winner of the Brown vs. Wake Forest match will face the winner of the Duke vs. High Point match on Sunday, May 11th at 1:30 p.m. Duke is the host school for the four teams.
