NEW HAVEN, CT - Brown's men's doubles team of seniors Noah Gardner (Cambridge, MA) and Sam Garland (Bradenton, FL) came up just short in the ITA Regional Doubles Finals, dropping an 8-2 decision to #1-seeded Clayton and Chijoff-Evans of Harvard in the final round. Gardner & Garland won five straight matches to advance to the finals, beating teams from Georgetown, Yale, Cornell, Penn, and Harvard along the way, including two teams that were seeded for the tournament.
For the season, Garland and Gardner are now 7-5 in doubles action as a pairing. Both have also one one other doubles match with a separate partner for an 8-5 overall doubles record so far this fall.
