Bears ECAC Title hopes fall short as Columbia Hands Brown 4-1 Loss in Semifinals

FLUSHING MEADOWS, NY - After winning their first match against 16th-seeded Rutgers at the ECAC Tournament, the Brown men's tennis team (2-1) posted a 5-2 win over Cornell in the quarterfinals to advance to the semifinals. However, fifth-seeded Columbia eliminated Brown, 4-1, in a shortened semifinal match on Sunday morning. Junior Saurabh Kohli (Colaba, Mumbai, India) went undefeated in singles over the weekend with a 3-0 record, picking up Brown's only point against the Lions.
