PROVIDENCE, RI - The Brown men's tennis team continued its strong start to the 2007 season during Saturday's action of the Northeast Intercollegiate. Juniors Chris Lee (Sudbury, MA) and Basu Ratnam (Oyster Bay, NY) picked up two wins in the top doubles flight to claim the title of that bracket, while freshman Jonathan Pearlman (New York, NY) and Charlie Posner (Cambridge, MA) are set to compete in the #2 doubles flight finals tomorrow.
In singles action, Brown has one player remaining in the main draw of each of the top three brackets and they will each compete in their respective semifinal matches tomorrow. Pearlman is in the #1 flight, Posner in the #2 flight and freshman Kendrick Au (St. John's, NF) is in the #3 flight.

Quarterfinals Loic Sessagesmini (Marist) def. Noah Gardner (B) 6-3, 4-6, 6-2; Jonathan Pearlman (B) def. Luka Djordevic (Hofstra) 6-3, 6-1. Consolation: Sam Garland (B) def. Nicolast Pisecki (Marist) 6-0.
