TAMPA, FL - The Brown men's tennis team (14-7) faced #67 New Mexico State in a neutral site match to close out spring break, and fell to the Aggies in a close match, 4-3. The Bears won a tight doubles point, earning wins at #1 and #2 and then went up 2-0 with a victory by sophomore Kendrick Au (St. John's, NF), who won in less than an hour at #6 singles. However, Brown was only able to win one more match, a three-set battle by sophomore Jonathan Pearlman (New York, NY) at #1 singles, as the Aggies took the match.
The Bears open up Ivy play on Friday afternoon when they host Penn in a 2:00 p.m. match.
