Bears Fall to Florida Atlantic, 6-1

BOCA RATON, FL - The Brown men's tennis team (14-6) dropped a hard-fought battle to Florida Atlantic, 6-1, on Thursday afternoon. Highlighting the match was a close win at #1 doubles for senior Chris Lee (Sudbury, MA) and sophomore Jonathan Pearlman (New York, NY), who upset the #63-ranked doubles team, 8-7 (4). Brown's lone point in the match came at #4 singles, where senior Sam Garland (Bradenton, FL) claimed a three-set win, 4-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4.

Overall, the match was close throughout, as all six singles matches went to three sets. Brown returns to action on Saturday morning at 10:00 when it faces New Mexico State in a neutral site match.
