Bears Fall to #28 Auburn, 4-2, in Opening Round of Blue Gray Tournament

MONTGOMERY, AL - The Brown men's tennis team (8-8) faced its third ranked opponent in a row, and fell to #28 Auburn, 4-2, in the opening round of the Blue Gray Tennis Tournament. Brown narrowly lost the doubles point and then dropped three of the five completed singles matches. Senior Saurabh Kohli (Colaba, Mumbai, India) earned a win at #1 singles over the 89th-ranked player in the nation, while freshman Kendrick Au (St. John's, NF) earned a win at #5 singles. The Bears will continue action at the Blue Gray Tournament on Friday, when they will face the loser of the Furman/#24 Oklahoma State match.
