Alex enters his sophomore season with the Bears and has seen time at the 4th through 6th singles positions. His career singles record is 22-21 and his doubles record is 12-5. His significant wins as a Bear include East Tennessee State's Diaz 6-3,6-0; Princeton's Daniel Friedman 4-6,6-4,3-0 ret.; Nebraska's Jose Rivera 6-1,6-2 and Joel Reckewey 6-0,6-1.

Alex trained the last three years of his junior career at the Billy Stearns Academy and finished as the 8th ranked player out of Florida and represented Florida's intersectional team in singles and doubles.
