Noah Gardner enters his senior year with much to prove as a captain for the Bears. His tremendous ability to make people around him better has helped Brown get stronger throughout his career and especially this year. He teamed with Sam Garland '09 and posted great results throughout the fall. They look to be the team that leads the Bears in Doubles this year.

Gardner started off his college career 'perfect,' going 4-0 in singles play and 2-0 in doubles matches as a freshman, after earning his way onto the team. He worked extensively on his serve and volley game and became a more attacking player. He came into his sophomore year more fit and stronger due to off-court workouts in the weight room. Gardner finished his second season for the Bears with a record of 15-11 in singles. He teamed with many different partners and earned a 13-8 mark in doubles, and was voted the Team's Most Improved Player.

Gardner continued the great results his junior year. He played mostly Garland and they won 15 matches as a team, which is 10th on the All-Time Wins List. That duo advanced to the quarterfinals at the ITA Northeast Regional Doubles Championships and then took down the nation's #53 team from East Tennessee State along with the #42 team from Michigan during dual match play last winter.

Gardner attended the Concord Academy for high school. He was the #2 player in the New England Region in the 16's while finishing #125 in the country. Noah holds a 3.5 grade point average and is an English major.

His parents are Robert Gardner and Adele Pressmon and they reside in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Noah has one older brother, Caleb who played tennis at Harvard.
