J.R. enters his junior year with the Bears and has played the majority of his career at the 5th and 6th singles positions and 3rd doubles. His career singles record is 27-23, and he's 28-19 in doubles competition. J.R. has also been ranked 15th in the region in doubles with Kris Goddard. His significant victories as a Bear include Middle Tennessee State's Mark Pellerin 5-7,7-6,6-3; Princeton's Darren Joe 5-7,7-6,6-3 and Harvard's Brian Wan 7-5,6-4.

J.R. joined the Bears as the 9th ranked player out of Florida and achieved a top 30 national ranking over his career. Major: Biology/History.
