Bears Win Second Straight, 4-3, over Radford

Men's Tennis Defeats Fairleigh Dickinson, 6-1
The Brown men's tennis team (6-7) snapped a three-match skid on Saturday afternoon with a 6-1 win over Fairleigh Dickinson. The Bears were strong from start to finish in the alumni day match, winning two of three doubles matches and five of six singles matches. Junior Kendrick Au (St. John's, NF) and senior Nathaniel Gorham (Los Altos Hills, CA) helped to lead the Bears, combining for an 8-5 win at #1 doubles and winning their respective singles matches at #1 and #2.

Bears Fall to #64 Middle Tennessee, 5-2
The Brown men's tennis team (5-7) dropped a 5-2 decision to 64th-ranked Middle Tennessee on Tuesday afternoon. Freshmen Tom Deighton (London, England) and Mike Hill (Topsham, ME) led the Bears, winning at #5 and #4 singles, respectively, as the Blue Raiders claimed the doubles point and four singles matches in the victory. Freshman Timmy Klanke (Potomac, MD) also had a strong singles match, dropping his match at #3 singles in three sets.

#70 Bears Fall to #11 Louisville, 5-2
The #70 Brown men's tennis team (5-6) went ahead, 1-0, by winning the doubles point against 11th-ranked Louisville, but the Cardinals rattled off five straight singles victories to win the match. The Bears got wins from junior Kendrick Au (St. John's, NF) and senior Nathaniel Gorham (Los Altos Hills, CA) at #1 doubles and freshman Timmy Klanke (Potomac, MD) and junior Charlie Posner (Cambridge, MA) at #2 doubles. In singles action, Posner got the lone win for Brown, earning a three-set victory at #5 singles.
