TULSA, Okla. – Brown men's tennis junior Jack Haworth (Corby, England) and freshman Peter Litsky (St. Petersburg, Fla.) concluded play at the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships on Saturday.
Both student-athletes started the tournament off with first round victories in the pre-qualifying round.
Litsky defeated Michael Kritzinger of Louisiana-Lafayette, 6-0, 6-3 while Haworth won his match, 6-5, 7-5, against Edward Nguyen of Auburn.
In the second round, Litsky's squared off against the 17th-seed, Haru Inoue of Wichita State and fell, 6-2, 6-1. Haworth competed against Parker McGuiness of Utah and was defeated 6-3, 6-3.
The Bears next compete at the Dartmouth Invitational on Friday Oct. 7 through Sunday, Oct. 9.
