To Notches Win at Harvard Halloween Invite

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Men's tennis player Justin To (Hong Kong, China) scored the victory in the Flight A singles draw of the 2013 Harvard Halloween Invite this past weekend.

To defeated Asika Isoh (Army) 4-6, 6-5 (2), 3-2, ret., before edging out Dana Parziale of Bryant, 6-2, 6-3.  In the finals, To avenged his loss to Kelvin Lam (Harvard) from the 2013 USTA/ITA Northeast Regionals last month, after Lam was forced to retire in the second set.

The Flight B singles draw saw freshman Eli Whittle (Nipomo, Calif.) advance over Rommel Verano of Army, 6-2, 6-2 before ultimately falling to another Black Knight, Grant Reichmann, 6-5, 6-3.

In doubles action, the duo of Whittle/Nath dropped an 8-6 decision to Schultz/Steinroeder of Harvard in the first round of the Doubles A Draw.
