Bears Edged by Middle Tennessee, 4-3

NASHVILLE, TN – The Brown men's tennis team (6-2) dropped its second match in two days, falling to Middle Tennessee (3-3), 4-3, on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Raiders claimed the doubles point with wins at #2 and #3, as the point would prove to be the difference after the two teams split the six singles matches. Winners for the Bears included sophomore Soufiane Azargui (Burlington, ONT) at #2, freshman William Spector (Weston, MA) at #5, and sophomore Sam Fife (Scarsdale, NY) at #6. Azargui also won in doubles action, teaming with classmate Brandon Burke (Kingston, Jamaica) for an 8-7 (7-4) win at #1.
