Tom Deighton Named All-Ivy

PROVIDENCE, RI – Freshman men's tennis player Tom Deighton (London, England) has been named Second Team All-Ivy in a vote by the League's eight head coaches.

After missing the entire fall season, Deighton came on strong during the spring, leading Brown with a 16-6 record in singles action, including a 5-2 mark in the Ivy League, all seven of which were played at the #3 position. Overall, Deighton was 7-2 at #3, 3-1 at #4, 5-3 at #5, and 1-0 at #6. The rookie also contributed in doubles action, compiling 10 total wins, while playing at the #1 position during the majority of the Ivy League season. Deighton finished the year with 26 combined wins, ranking third overall on the team with a .565 combined winning percentage.
