Bears Fall to #74 Yale, 6-1, in Season Finale

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Brown men's tennis team (10-16, 0-7) closed out its 2009-10 season on Saturday afternoon with a 6-1 loss to #74 Yale at the Erickson Athletic Complex Courts. Brown picked up one win each in singles and doubles with Yale winning four of the five singles matches in straight sets. In doubles action, senior Nathaniel Gorham (Los Altos Hills, CA) and junior Charlie Posner (Cambridge, MA) earned an 8-3 win at #3. In singles action, freshman Tom Deighton (London, England) posted a 6-1, 6-1 win at #3 for the Bears' point.
