Bears Defeat Colgate, 5-0

PROVIDENCE, RI - In the first match of Friday night's Rock N' Roll Tennis double header, the Brown men's tennis team (3-2) earned a 5-0 win over visiting Colgate. Playing a slightly different format, the match started with four singles matches. Then, the two teams finished with one doubles match, which was played on the first available court following singles action.

The Bears used six different players in the match with senior Nathaniel Gorham (Los Altos Hills, CA), and freshmen Mike Hill (Topsham, ME), Tom Deighton (London, England), and Luciano Musella (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) all playing singles. The doubles team of juniors Kendrick Au (St. John's, NF) and Charlie Posner (Cambridge, MA) closed the match, competing in doubles.
