Alisha Hanoian joined the Brown swimming and diving staff as the
Diving Coach in August of 2008. A native of Seekonk, Massachusetts,
Hanoian came to Brown after two seasons as the Diving Coach at
Roger Williams University. She has also been an assistant coach for
the Providence Twisters. A 2005 graduate of the University of
Connecticut with a BS in Human Development and Family Studies,
Hanoian was a four-year letterwinner for the Huskies diving team. A
four-time Big East Academic All-Star, Hanoian qualified for the Big
East and Zone A Championship meets for four straight years,
finishing as a finalist on both boards at the Big East
Championships. A Dean's List student from 2003-2005, Hanoian
received the University of Connecticut Scholar Athlete Award in
2005. Hanoian currently resides in Rumford, RI.
