Kristy Fuzellier, the former Kristy Martin, joined the Brown
coaching staff in the fall of 2007 after spending two seasons as an
Assistant Coach at MIT. While at MIT during the 2006 and 2007
season, Fuzellier was instrumental in helping the Engineers earn
three Top 20 team finishes at the NCAA Championship, four NEWMAC
runner-up titles, and over 20 All-America performances. Prior to
MIT, Fuzellier served as the Head Coach for the Martinsville High
School Swim Team in Indiana during the 2003-2004 season. She also
worked with the Bloomington Swim Club and at the Indiana University
Swim Camp. Fuzellier graduated from Indiana University in 2003 with
a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology where she was a top-three
finisher in the Big Ten Championships in the 200 Butterfly and 400
IM. Fuzellier earned honors as an Academic All-American and was an
NCAA qualifier in the 200 Butterfly, 200 IM and 400 IM. Fuzellier
also qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 200 Butterfly and
finished in the top-16 multiple times at the US Open.
