Men's Swimming and Diving Competes at the Princeton Invitational
The Brown men’s swimming and diving squad competed in a three-day event at DeNunzio Pool on the campus of Princeton University this weekend. Princeton finished first overall in the team rankings with 1,191 points while the Bears finished third out of six schools with 632.5 points.

The men’s swimming and diving squad opened up the season with a resounding 201-93 victory over visiting UMass-Amherst on Saturday at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.

Swimming & Diving Participates in Swim Across America
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown University men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams took part in the Swim Across America-Rhode Island Swim and raised $7,370 towards cancer research last weekend at Roger Wheeler State Beach in Narragansett, R.I.

Brown Swimming & Diving Set to ‘Swim Across America’ for Charity
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men’s and women’s swimming & diving program has partnered with the Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island and the national non-profit organization Swim Across America (SAA) and will take part in the fourth annual SAA-Rhode Island Swim on Saturday, September 7th.

Alex de la Pena Named Assistant Swimming Coach
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Peter Brown, Director of Swimming and Aquatics at Brown University, has announced the hiring of Alex de la Pena as an assistant coach of the swimming and diving program. De la Pena comes to Brown following a two-year stint as the Head Swimming & Diving Coach and Director of Aquatic Sports at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois.
