Glenn Earns All-America Honors at NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

Seattle, Wash. – Sophomore swimmer Tommy Glenn (Haddonfield, N.J.) represented Brown well at the 2012 NCAA Division I Championships, competing in both the 100 and 200 butterfly events. Glenn advanced to the B Finals in the 200 fly and finished 13th overall with a time of 144.60 to earn All-America Honorable Mention honors.

Competing in his first college nationals, Glenn's performance earned Brown a 38th place finish for the Bears in the team standings. The Ivy League was well represented with scoring competitors from Princeton, Harvard and Pennsylvania.

Glenn will now take a break and then resume training in April, in preparation for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials, held from June 25 to July 2 in Omaha, Neb. The competition will take place in a temporary indoor pool at CenturyLink Center Omaha. Omaha was selected as the host of the 2012 Trials based upon the overwhelming success of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
