Brown Men’s Swimming & Diving Heads to Harvard for Ivy League Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – On Thursday, March 3 at the Blodgett Pool in Cambridge, Mass., the Brown men's swimming & diving team will compete in the 2011 Ivy League Championship. The event will span three days and will be hosted by Harvard. 

Preliminaries will begin each day at 11 am., followed by evening championship final sessions that will take place at 6 p.m.

There are three different packages for viewing so fans can chose how much coverage they would like to purchase.

1. Weekend Pass ($24.95) - Covers the entire weekend's action, including morning trials (with partial diving coverage) and evening finals, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

2. Daily Pass ($15.95) - Covers the morning trials (with partial diving coverage) and the evening finals for a specific day.

3. Session Pass ($9.95) - Covers any one of the six sessions that will be broadcast (can be either a morning trial session or an evening finals session).

DIRECTIONS TO HARVARD
From the West
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike east to Exit 18 (Allston/Cambridge). After paying toll, bear left at fork towards Allston. Turn right at second set of lights onto North Harvard Street. Proceed approximately one mile. Blodgett Pool will be on your left.

From the North
Take I-93 south to Storrow Drive exit. Take Storrow Drive west for approximately five miles. Exit at Harvard Square/North Harvard Street. At top of exit, turn left onto North Harvard Street . Approximately 1/4 mile on your right will be the entrance for Blodgett Pool.

From the South
Take I-95 north to I-93 north. Follow I-93 until Exit 20 (Massachusetts Turnpike). Take Mass. Pike west to Exit 20 (Allston/Cambridge). After paying toll, bear left at fork towards Allston. Turn right at second set of lights onto North Harvard Street. Proceed approximately one mile. Blodgett Pool will be on your left.

Alternative From the Southwest/Northwest
Take Route 128 (I-95) to Massachusetts Turnpike. Take Mass. Pike east to exit 18. (Allston/Cambridge). After paying toll, bear left at fork towards Allston. Turn right at second set of lights onto North Harvard Street. Proceed approximately one mile. Blodgett Pool will be on your left.

Via M.B.T.A.
The Red Line subway stops at Harvard Square. The Soldiers Field Complex is a 10-minute walk from the square, down JFK St. and over the Charles River. Several bus routes make stops at Harvard Square as well. The 66 and 86 routes include stops on North Harvard Street in front of Harvard Stadium.

PARKING INFORMATION
Spectator parking is available in the Soldier's Field Athletic Complex for $10 (space-permitting), or in the Harvard Business School lot for $5.
