Ricketts Named First Team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America
Senior swimmer Dan Ricketts (Baltimore, MD) has been named First Team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America, becoming Brown’s first-ever swimmer (men’s or women’s) to earn Academic All-American recognition. After earning First Team All-District honors in late may, Ricketts’ nomination was forwarded on to the national ballot, where he became one of five student-athletes from District I to earn a spot on the First Team. For the At-Large process, schools may nominate up to three student-athletes for the men’s team and three student-athletes for the women’s team.
