Bears Cruise To 8-1 Win Over Tufts

PROVIDENCE, RI - The 14th Ranked Brown men's squash team cruised to an 8-1 victory over Tufts University Tuesday evening at the Pizzitola Sports Center. Sophomore Adrian Leanza turned in a strong performance at number one against the Jumbos, dropping the first game, 7-9, but fighting back to win the next three games, 9-0, 9-0, 10-8 for the 3-1 victory.

Junior Alex Heitzmann allowed just one point at number seven, winning 9-0, 9-1, 9-0. Senior Jacob Winkler also excelled, winning 9-3, 9-0, 9-1 at number nine.

The Bears will play their last home competition of the season on Tuesday, February 17th against MIT, starting at 6:00 p.m.
